FORT ANN, NY — State Police responded to a motocross facility on State Route 149 on April 18, 2026, for the report of a severely injured person involved in a dirt bike incident.
Nicholas A. Milohnic, 62, of Beacon, had been operating a dirt bike on the track when he was ejected from the bike following a jump at about 10:42 a.m.
Lifesaving measures were taken by bystanders and then EMS upon their arrival, but Milohnic succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
