MECHANICSBURG, PA — A three-vehicle rear-end collision occurred in the 1st block of West Simpson Street on April 7, 2026.
Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4 p.m.
Officers determined a vehicle was stopped facing west on West Simpson Street, intending to turn left onto South Frederick Street.
A second vehicle stopped behind the first vehicle.
A third vehicle failed to stop in time and struck the second vehicle in the rear, pushing it into the first vehicle.
The middle vehicle required towing from the scene due to damage sustained in the crash.
Penn State Health EMS assisted police at the scene.
