JAMAICA, VT — A Vermont State Police cruiser and another vehicle collided on Vermont Route 100 on April 19, 2026.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:04 p.m. under cloudy, cold conditions on clear, dry roads.
A 31-year-old state police trooper from Westminster was operating a 2021 Ford Explorer cruiser at the time of the collision.
The second vehicle was a 2012 Honda CRV operated by a driver from Wardsboro.
The trooper sustained minor injuries and was transported to Grace Cottage Hospital.
Four occupants of the Honda CRV sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were also transported to Grace Cottage Hospital.
Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.
All occupants in both vehicles were wearing seat belts.
The crash remains under investigation by Vermont State Police.
