Man arrested on domestic violence charges in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — A Pennsylvania man faces strangulation and resisting arrest charges following a domestic dispute on the city’s south side.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a residence at 11:10 p.m. April 15, 2026, for a reported domestic dispute.

Upon investigation, police determined that Jared D. Eisenbrown, 36, of Pennsylvania, choked the victim during the dispute, causing the victim to nearly lose consciousness.

When officers attempted to take Eisenbrown into custody, he became combative and resisted arrest.

After a brief struggle, Eisenbrown was taken into custody without further incident.

He was transported to Jamestown City Jail and charged with strangulation in the second degree and resisting arrest.

Eisenbrown was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
