MIDDLETOWN, CT — Officers from the Middletown Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot located to the rear of Mondo restaurant, 10 Main Street, on April 18, 2026.
The incident involved a single vehicle.
The operator mistakenly accelerated instead of applying the brake, causing the vehicle to travel through a fence and over an embankment before coming to rest in the adjacent William Raveis parking lot.
All occupants were able to safely exit the vehicle without injury.
Middletown Fire Department and EMS personnel responded to the scene and evaluated those involved.
The vehicle was subsequently removed.
No injuries were reported.
