Four arrested on firearm charges in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — Four people were arrested after police discovered a loaded handgun during a traffic stop on April 11, 2026.

Members of the Street Crimes Unit observed a vehicle operating recklessly in the area of Enfield Street.

Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop near Auburn Street.

During the on-scene investigation, officers observed a semi-automatic handgun on the driver’s side floorboard.

All four occupants were detained and placed under arrest without incident.

Antonio Knight, 20, of Hartford, Emanuel Brown, 23, of Hartford, Kemar Wright, 20, of Hartford, and Shakii Coleman, 23, of Hartford, were arrested.

Police recovered a Taurus G3 9mm handgun with a high-capacity magazine loaded with 11 rounds.
