NEWTON, MA — The Newton Police Department is investigating four incidents involving “We Stand With Israel” signs in the area of Homer Street, Kenwood Road, Manement Road, and Fenno Road.
The incidents occurred during the daylight hours of April 16–17, 2026.
In each case, small bags of dog feces were placed near the signs.
One sign was removed from the ground and vandalized with what appeared to be a red substance.
These incidents occurred within a small neighborhood area.
In response, officers are conducting directed patrols and increasing visibility throughout the affected locations.
