HARTFORD, CT — Police arrested a man carrying an AR-style pistol at the Aetna Headquarters on Friday.
Hartford Police responded to 151 Farmington Avenue after a report of a suspicious male.
Officers arrived to find the individual already detained by Aetna security, who acted quickly and stopped him within three minutes of entering the building.
The male was found to be carrying a backpack containing an AR-style pistol and was taken into custody without incident.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes, Crime Scene, and Intelligence Divisions responded and have assumed the investigation.
Denrey Wadlington, 50, address unknown, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, criminal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of an assault weapon and possession of a large capacity magazine.
