WILTON, NY — State Police arrested a Fort Edward man on a felony charge of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Willis E. Arthur, 33, of Fort Edward, was taken into custody on March 12, 2026, with assistance from the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit.
State Police received information on March 15, 2025, reporting possible inappropriate contact between a child and an adult.
The investigation revealed Arthur was allegedly in possession of an image consistent with child sexual exploitation.
Arthur was arrested at his home and transported to State Police barracks in Wilton for processing.
He was arraigned at Moreau Town Court and released under supervision of the Saratoga County Probation Department.
Possessing a sexual performance by a child is a class E felony.
