BARTON, VT — State Police arrested a Mississippi man on a felony domestic assault charge April 10.
Troopers received a report of a potential domestic assault at a residence on Main Street at approximately 11:03 a.m.
Troopers responded to the scene and met with both parties involved.
Based on interviews and evidence found at the scene, troopers arrested Cruz Gary, 39, of Mount Olive, Mississippi, for first-degree aggravated domestic assault.
Gary was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Derby State Police Barracks.
Gary was subsequently lodged without bail.
