ORLEANS, VT — A traffic stop on Main Street led to the arrest of a man with outstanding warrants April 8.
State police conducted the traffic stop at approximately 6:10 p.m. after observing a motor vehicle violation.
One of the passengers was identified as Michael Cyr, 59, of Brownington.
Police confirmed Cyr had two active in-state warrants for his arrest.
Cyr was arrested and transported to Northern State Correctional Facility for lack of $2,000 bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Orleans Superior Court on April 9 at 1:30 p.m.
