WIND GAP, PA — A 38-year-old man faces multiple driving under the influence charges after allegedly crashing into gas pumps while impaired.
Seth W. Pysher was arrested March 4 after police were dispatched to the United Gas Station at 73 North Broadway at approximately 4:44 p.m. for a report of a male who had struck the gas pumps with his vehicle and was slumped over at the wheel.
Officers arrived and contacted the driver, who was identified as Pysher.
Officers administered medical aid until EMS arrived to evaluate Pysher.
During the officers’ contact with Pysher, multiple indicators of impairment were observed and Pysher was deemed incapable of safely operating a vehicle.
Pysher was transported to an area hospital and requested to submit to a chemical test of blood, which he agreed to.
Blood toxicology results indicated that Pysher’s whole blood alcohol concentration was 0.301% ethanol and his blood also contained marijuana and metabolites.
Pysher was charged with DUI highest rate of alcohol, DUI general impairment, DUI controlled substance schedule I, DUI controlled substance metabolites, DUI controlled substance general impairment, DUI combination alcohol and drugs, and various traffic offenses.
Charges were filed through District Court.
