LANOKA HARBOR, NJ — A driver was killed Wednesday morning after a vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
The Lacey Township Police Department responded to the crash in the area of Lake Barnegat Drive North and Haines Street around 9 a.m.
The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle ran off the roadway, crashed through a fence, and struck a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
