JAMESTOWN, NY — Police arrested a man on drunken driving charges after finding him unresponsive in a running vehicle April 5, 2026.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to the report at approximately 4:27 p.m.
An investigation determined the vehicle’s operator, Sven C. Anderson, was intoxicated.
Anderson was transported to the Jamestown City Jail without incident.
He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated DWI.
Anderson was later released to a sober party and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
