RICE TOWNSHIP, PA — Three men have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a home in the Woodberry Manor section of Rice Township.

Officers were dispatched to a private single-family dwelling on Feb. 19 at 8:34 p.m. for a reported burglary.

Upon arrival, officers found that suspects had entered the residence by force through a rear entry door.

The items reported missing by the residents included jewelry, U.S. currency and other personal effects.

During the investigation, officers learned that the suspects were believed to be involved in other burglaries in Montgomery County and Bensalem Township in Pennsylvania, as well as West Windsor Township, New Jersey.

The suspects were identified in conjunction with law enforcement partners in those jurisdictions.

The individuals are believed to be members of an organized burglary crew working out of the Queens section of New York City.

The subjects involved in this criminal organization are all Colombian nationals and members of a larger South American theft group.

Daniel Alejandro García Arenas, 24, of Toms River, New Jersey; Yeison Estiven González Rodríguez, 20, of Newark, New Jersey; and Robinson Jean Paul Moncada Patarroyo, 19, of Queens, New York, have all been jointly charged by Rice Township Police, Bensalem Township Police and the Montgomery County Detective Division with burglary, criminal trespass and related offenses.

García Arenas was arraigned in Montgomery County by Magisterial District Judge Rebar on April 1 and was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.

Moncada Patarroyo and González Rodríguez are both in custody in out-of-state prisons and are awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

Investigative work continues due to a possible connection to other area burglaries.
