HIGHGATE, VT — A woman was arrested on an active warrant after being denied entry into Canada on April 4, 2026.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were notified that Tamra Headrick-Bell, 45, of Montpelier, attempted to enter Canada via the Interstate 89 Highgate Springs Port of Entry.
Headrick-Bell was denied entrance due to an active arrest warrant from Montpelier Police Department.
She was taken into Vermont State Police custody and transported to the Chittenden County Correctional Center for lack of $200 bail.
