BATAVIA, NY — A woman was arrested after allegedly being found in possession of fentanyl when she was brought to the Genesee County Jail.
Rosemary R. Waters, 40, of Batavia, was arrested March 25 for promoting prison contraband in the first degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
She was arraigned in CAP Court.
Kayleen M. Laird, 30, of Batavia, was arrested March 25 for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Laird was allegedly found in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop on Bank Street.
She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Erica A. Hanley, 38, of Batavia, was arrested March 27 for harassment in the second degree.
Hanley scratched another person during an altercation on North Lyon Street.
She was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
Abdi A. Abdi, 26, of Rochester, was arrested March 28 on two arrest warrants for petit larceny.
The warrants are related to two separate incidents where Abdi allegedly stole merchandise from businesses in Batavia.
He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
Scott D. Meyer, 32, of Attica, was arrested March 29 on an arrest warrant.
The warrant was issued after Meyer failed to appear in court on a misdemeanor traffic ticket.
He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
Ryan J. Sarvis, 44, of Darien, was arrested March 29 on an arrest warrant.
The warrant was issued after Sarvis failed to appear in court on a misdemeanor traffic ticket.
He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released.
Andrew D. Raymond, 38, of Niagara Falls, was arrested March 30 for harassment in the second degree.
Raymond allegedly slapped another person during an altercation on Oak Street.
He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.
