BENSALEM, PA — A father and son were arrested Thursday on child pornography charges after a cybertip led police to their apartment.
Bensalem Police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone at Salem Crossing Apartments was attempting to obtain pornographic images of children through the internet.
Detectives narrowed the location to an apartment occupied by Raul “Christian” Sandoval Jr., 34, and Raul Sandoval Sr., 58.
On March 12, 2026, detectives obtained and served a search warrant on the residence and seized an HP desktop computer owned by Sandoval Jr. and a phone owned by Sandoval Sr.
A forensic examination of the computer hard drive revealed over 100 images of females approximately 6 to 12 years old posing nude, with some showing prepubescent females engaging in sex with males.
An examination of the father’s phone revealed multiple images of child pornography, including images of a female approximately 10 to 11 years old nude and images of a prepubescent female having sex with an adult male.
Detectives obtained arrest warrants for both men, charging each with sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communication facility.
Sandoval Sr. and Sandoval Jr. turned themselves in to Bensalem Police on Thursday.
The two were arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after bail was set at 10% of $2,000,000 each.
