BENSALEM, PA — Three men have been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries that occurred in Bensalem Township on Jan. 31, 2026.
The Bensalem Township Police Department responded to four burglary-related incidents occurring between 6 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. in the Neshaminy Valley section of the township.
In three of the cases, suspects attempted entry through rear doors or windows but were deterred by homeowners or alarm systems.
Forced entry was made into a fourth home which was then burglarized.
Detectives determined that all four incidents were connected.
Through the use of surveillance footage, witness statements and Automated License Plate Readers, police identified the vehicles used in the burglaries and developed suspects for the crimes.
The investigation revealed that these incidents matched other burglaries being reported in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Through multi-jurisdictional cooperation involving the Bensalem Township Police Department, Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office Detective Division, Rice Township, West Windsor Police Department and the NYPD Burglary Unit, three subjects were positively identified and charges were filed.
Robinson Jean Paul Moncada Patarroyo, Daniel Alejandro Garcia Arenas and Yeison Estiven Gonzalez Rodriguez were all located and taken into custody.
The individuals are believed to be members of an organized burglary crew working out of the Queens section of New York City.
The subjects involved in this criminal organization are all Colombian nationals and members of a larger South American theft group.
All three individuals have been charged with burglary and related offenses in multiple jurisdictions, including Bensalem Township and Warrington Township in Bucks County; Franconia Township, Montgomery Township and Lower Salford Township in Montgomery County; and Rice Township in Luzerne County.
Garcia Arenas was arraigned in Montgomery County by Magisterial District Judge Rebar on April 1, 2026, and was remanded to Montgomery County Correctional Facility.
Moncada Patarroyo and Gonzalez Rodriguez are both in custody in out-of-state prisons and are awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
