WILLIAMSPORT, PA — Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Central Avenue on March 28, 2026.
Williamsport Police units responded to a shooting incident at 2206 Central Avenue at approximately 12:27 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 41-year-old male victim who had been struck by gunfire.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A person of interest was detained at the scene and transported to Police Headquarters.
The investigation is ongoing.
