HACKENSACK, NJ — The Hackensack Police Department responded to the area of Lodi Street and McKinley Street on March 27, 2026, at approximately 6:36 a.m. on a report of a medical emergency involving the driver of a large truck.
Responding officers located a 55-year-old man deceased with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Bergen County Medical Examiner’s Office.
