Man arrested on false ID charge in Lower Makefield Township

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Bristol man was arrested after providing false identification to police during a traffic stop at a gas station.

Police on patrol observed a vehicle in the parking lot of the Sunoco gas station in the unit block of Oxford Valley Road at 9:35 p.m. March 24, 2026.

The vehicle had no inspection stickers and was missing a driver’s side mirror.

The driver provided false identification information to police, including a fake name and social security number.

The 40-year-old man was detained and eventually provided his true identity.

A records check revealed he was driving with a suspended registration and license.

He was taken into police custody and charged with false ID to law enforcement and other traffic offenses.

Police responded to a report of a woman armed with pruning shears making threats to a neighbor in the 1700 block of Janney Lane at 8:20 a.m. March 21, 2026.

A 45-year-old Lower Makefield Township woman was arrested for terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct.

She was arraigned by Judge Armitage and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility on $25,000/10% bail.

Police responded to a vehicle theft in progress in the 900 block of Hunt Drive at 3:58 a.m. March 20, 2026.

The victim reported their green 2026 Dodge Ram was stolen from their driveway by an unknown male.

Officers observed the stolen pickup truck traveling southbound on Heacock Road and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed.

Police observed an unoccupied but running black Hyundai in the vicinity.

A records check revealed that vehicle was reported stolen out of Middletown Township.

The New Jersey State Police later contacted Lower Makefield Township police after locating the stolen Dodge.

They advised the vehicle was used to commit several crimes in their jurisdiction and possibly contained a stolen handgun.

Police are investigating a theft of a 2009 Toyota Camry reported in the 1100 block of Evergreen Road at 9:05 p.m. March 24, 2026.

The vehicle was later recovered on a front lawn on the same block at 12:04 a.m., with damage observed to a fence and tree.

A Morrisville woman was cited for disorderly conduct after police stopped a vehicle for violations in the 200 block of Oxford Valley Road at 11:11 p.m. March 24, 2026.

During the interaction, the odor of marijuana was detected coming from within the vehicle.

The 31-year-old female passenger admitted to smoking marijuana.

Police are investigating credit card fraud reported in the 500 block of South Dove Road at 4:26 p.m. March 24, 2026.

The complainant reported unauthorized use of their credit card in the amount of approximately $1,000.
