JAMESTOWN, NY — A woman was arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of outstanding warrants and methamphetamine.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon conducted a traffic stop in the area of Newland Avenue and Charles Street at approximately 5:25 p.m. on March 25, 2026, for observed traffic infractions.
During the investigation, officers determined that Desiray J. Corrigan was operating the vehicle.
Corrigan attempted to provide officers with a New York State driver’s license belonging to an uninvolved female in an attempt to evade arrest on outstanding warrants from the Jamestown Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Fredonia Police Department.
Corrigan was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
While at the jail, officers conducted a search and located a quantity of methamphetamine on her person.
Corrigan was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and criminal impersonation in the second degree.
She was also issued traffic citations in addition to her outstanding warrants.
Corrigan was held in the city jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
