POCONO TOWNSHIP, PA — A 21-year-old man faces multiple charges following a single-vehicle accident on Feb. 14.
Officers responded to the crash at 2054 PA-611 in Swiftwater.
Upon investigation, police determined the driver was under the influence of both alcohol and drugs.
The driver was identified as Miguel Jose Cabrera of Mount Pocono.
Cabrera was charged with driving under the influence at the highest rate, general impairment, driving under the influence of controlled substances, and driving under the influence of a combination of drugs and alcohol.
He also faces charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, failure to drive in a single lane, and driving at an unsafe speed.
Charges were filed on March 16.
