NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Three people were arrested following a month-long investigation into alleged prostitution activity at a massage business, police said.
The North Branford Police Department received multiple complaints in February alleging prostitution-related activity at Asian Massage Spa at 2341 Foxon Road, registered with the state as Sun Flower Spa, LLC.
Police assigned the case to a North Branford Police Task Force Officer working with the Connecticut State Police Organized Crime Unit.
Between late February and March 25, investigators conducted an inquiry using search warrants, analysis of online platforms and intelligence-sharing among law enforcement agencies.
On March 25, North Branford police and Connecticut State Police executed a search warrant authorized by the New Haven State’s Attorney’s Office.
Shao Hai Hua, 42, of Flushing, New York, was charged with soliciting sexual acts.
Li Liu, 52, of Rochester, New York, listed as the principal and managing member of the business, was charged with conspiracy to commit soliciting sexual acts.
Hui Chen, 53, of West Haven, was charged with conspiracy to commit soliciting sexual acts.
All three were released after posting bond and are scheduled to appear at New Haven Superior Court on April 8, 2026.
