6 arrested in robbery at convenience store in Shelton

SHELTON, CT — Six people have been arrested in connection with a strong-arm robbery at a convenience store last month.

Shelton Police responded to the 24/7 Express Mart at 9:21 p.m. on Feb. 21 after receiving a 911 call reporting an assault.

Officers determined the incident was a robbery.

The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an altercation with multiple individuals and was struck several times in the face, causing injuries and knocking the victim to the ground.

While the victim was down, a cell phone was forcibly taken from their pocket.

Officer Roberts and Detective McMahon conducted an investigation using surveillance footage, interviews, and physical and digital evidence to identify those involved.

Arrest warrants were secured based on the evidence collected.

Steve Nakhoune, 34, Baron Vongxay, 35, Kamora King, 43, Collin Addiss, 30, and Mark Gaddy, 44, were each charged with second-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, third-degree assault and breach of peace.

Errin Gaulin, 37, was charged with larceny and breach of peace.

All suspects were taken into custody throughout March.

Each was issued a court date at GA-5.
