CURWENSVILLE, PA — Two male juveniles were cited for harassment after allegedly trespassing on a woman’s property and banging on her doors March 14.

A 66-year-old woman in the area of George Street reported the incident involving juveniles ages 12 and 13, according to Curwensville Police Chief Witherite.

The two juveniles were part of a larger group harassing neighbors, police said.

The investigation is continuing.

In a separate incident, police investigated an allegation that a 38-year-old woman was letting her 14-year-old daughter vape THC.

Children and Youth Services conducted a parallel investigation into the matter.

The allegations stemmed from a complaint by a past paramour of the 38-year-old woman.

The case was thoroughly investigated and unfounded, police said.

Curwensville Police assisted Pennsylvania State Police with warrant service and the execution of a search warrant March 15 in the borough.

Details of the arrests and the search warrant will be released by state police at a later date.

On March 16, a 59-year-old woman reported she had been talking on the phone for hours to an unknown person who scammed her out of personal information to defraud her.

Police assisted her in protecting her identity and blocking her accounts and notified the police department with jurisdiction.

The department assisted EMS on Thompson Street with a 56-year-old man who was emotionally disturbed and required assistance.

The patient was taken by EMS to a medical facility for evaluation.

A 16-year-old girl reported harassment from several other juveniles known to her.

Police are actively investigating the matter.
