Tree blocks roadway in Broadalbin

BROADALBIN, N.Y. — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a tree blocking Hoesville Road on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

The fire company was contacted at 2:13 p.m. about the downed tree in the Town of Broadalbin.

A Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander notified Fulton County Fire Dispatch and the Galway Volunteer Fire Company that the incident was actually in Galway’s fire district.

The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company handled the call.

Fire police closed the road because the tree blocked both lanes of traffic, making it impassable.
