Woman arrested on burglary charge in Richfield Springs

RICHFIELD SPRINGS, NY — A woman was arrested on felony burglary and larceny charges following an investigation at a local supermarket.

Evelyn M. Seward, 58, of Cooperstown, was taken into custody Thursday at Price Chopper.

The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office investigated a complaint of burglary and larceny at the store.

Seward was charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny.

She was processed and held for arraignment.

Seward is scheduled to appear in Richfield Springs Village Court.
