WIND GAP, PA — A woman faces charges after allegedly boarding a school bus and refusing to leave during an incident on Feb. 18.
Tabitha L. Keiper, 29, of Pennsylvania, was charged with unauthorized school bus entry and disorderly conduct.
A School Resource Officer was notified by Pen Argyl School District personnel about an incident that occurred on a school bus at approximately 7:02 a.m. that morning.
The officer received reports from bus drivers as well as audio and video from the school bus regarding an altercation with a parent while the bus was stopped in Wind Gap.
During the incident, Keiper allegedly boarded the school bus, ignoring warning signs of no unauthorized entry, and engaged in an argument with the bus driver.
Keiper was told to exit the bus multiple times and refused to do so, according to police.
The incident occurred at East Center Street and Lehigh Avenue.
Charges were filed through District Court based on her actions.
