Man wanted on probation violation in Columbia County

HUDSON, NY — The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a man wanted for violating the terms of his probation.

Justin L. Dus, 37, of Columbia County, is wanted for felony violation of probation.

Authorities said Dus violated court-ordered terms of probation five times between June 16, 2023, and July 17, 2023.

The violations include failing to report to probation, failing to advise of an address change and three incidents of operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device.

Dus may be residing in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and has also been seen in the area of County Route 7 in the town of Austerlitz.

He will be extradited from Massachusetts if located, authorities said.

Dus is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 158 pounds, with black hair and green eyes.
