WIND GAP, PA — A man was arrested on a drug paraphernalia charge after police responded to a report of a suspicious person.
Officers were dispatched at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 25, 2026, to the area of East West Street and South Lehigh Avenue for a report of a male wearing a ski mask and carrying a large metal pipe.
Officers located the man in the area of Dream Drive and Prosper Lane.
The man was identified as Aristotle G. Tarboro, 57, of Pennsylvania.
Police said Tarboro appeared to be under the influence of narcotics and declined medical attention.
Officers offered to transport him to his residence and advised him he would be searched prior to transport, to which he consented.
Tarboro told officers he had a “bowl” in his pants pocket, and police located a glass smoking pipe with methamphetamine residue.
Tarboro was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charges were filed through District Court.
