PLATTSBURGH, NY — An 80-year-old man was arrested on a prostitution charge following a federal search warrant execution at a massage parlor.
Rodney J. Burnham, of Peru, was charged with patronizing prostitution in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor.
On Feb. 25, Clinton County Sheriff’s deputies assisted the Homeland Security Investigations Rouses Point office with execution of a federal search warrant related to an ongoing investigation into an alleged prostitution enterprise operating as a massage parlor in the town of Plattsburgh.
Upon execution of the warrant, deputies and HSI special agents allegedly located Burnham on the premises.
Further investigation revealed that Burnham allegedly patronized a prostitute at that location, leading to his arrest on Feb. 27 at 8:58 a.m.
Burnham was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and released after being issued an appearance ticket returnable to Plattsburgh Town Court on a later date.
