LATHAM, NY — A man surrendered to State Police on Feb. 25, 2026, facing charges of repeated sexual assault of a child.
Travis J. Hawley, 24, of Rensselaerville, was arrested for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child 1st, a class B felony.
Investigators received information on Feb. 17, 2026, reporting a past sexual assault of a child.
The investigation determined that Hawley allegedly had repeated sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 13 in Albany County over the course of approximately two years.
Hawley surrendered himself to State Police in Latham, where he was arrested and processed.
He was arraigned at Colonie Town Court, where he was remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash, $20,000 bond, or a $100,000 partially secured bond.
