BATH, NY — A 70-year-old man was arrested on felony burglary and other charges following a theft at Walgreens on Feb. 3, 2026.
Stanley E. Mckee, of Bath, was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor.
Village of Bath Police Department officers were dispatched to the store at approximately 12:10 p.m. regarding stolen alcoholic beverages.
Police said Mckee damaged a case of beer, making it unable to be sold, and stole multiple cans of beer.
Mckee had previously been trespassed from the location due to prior thefts of beer, according to police.
Mckee was located and taken into custody.
He was transported to Steuben County Jail for CAP court, where he was held.
