TANNERSVILLE, PA — A 21-year-old man faces driving under the influence charges following a single-vehicle crash on Jan. 21.
Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to State Route 715 between State Route 611 and Munch Drive at 8:08 p.m. for a report of a motor vehicle accident with one vehicle on the side of the road.
Emergency services arrived on scene and removed the driver from the vehicle.
The driver, Jacob R. Kolar of Cresco, was found to be under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
Kolar consented to a blood draw, which showed a high rate of alcohol in his system, police said.
He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol general impairment, driving under the influence of alcohol high rate and related traffic offenses.
