WELLSVILLE, NY — Police arrested a man Wednesday after discovering drugs and cash during a probation search.
Wellsville Police Officers assisted Felony Adult Probation on a search at a Main Street residence Feb. 18.
Officers encountered Alan Jakes inside the residence.
Upon searching the residence, officers located 70 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 19 grams of suspected methamphetamine and $615 in U.S. currency.
The drugs were packed for resale.
Jakes was arrested for probation violation.
All evidence was turned over to the Columbiana County Drug Task Force.
