BARTON, VT — A Derby driver was cited for excessive speed on Interstate 91 on Feb. 20, 2026.
Devin West, 26, of Derby, was observed traveling 103 mph in a posted 65 mph zone around 7 p.m. on I-91 North at mile marker 159, according to Vermont State Police.
A trooper on patrol in a fully marked cruiser detected the vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed using radar.
The vehicle was identified as a Subaru Crosstrek.
West was issued a speeding ticket and a citation to appear in Orleans Superior Court.
