Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Atlantic Highlands

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Memorial Parkway and Grand Avenue on Feb. 19.

The Atlantic Highlands Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 6:01 p.m. following multiple reports of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.

Officers located a conscious and alert female pedestrian, as well as the driver of the involved vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to Riverview Medical Center for evaluation and has since been released.

The driver remained on scene and has been cooperative throughout the investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Motor vehicle summonses are pending.

The investigation remains ongoing.
