JAMESTOWN, NY — A man was arrested on drunken driving charges early Thursday following a motor vehicle accident.
Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to West 8th Street and Cherry Street at 12:27 a.m. Feb. 19, 2026, for a report of a motor vehicle accident.
Through investigation, officers determined that Welsey M. Pickard III was operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Pickard was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated over a 0.08% BAC.
Pickard was later released on traffic tickets.
