SWIFTWATER, PA — Pocono Township police are seeking a woman wanted on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and child endangerment following an October traffic stop.
Ivy L. Walker, 49, of Tobyhanna, is wanted on a warrant issued Feb. 10.
Police said an officer conducting an aggressive driving enforcement detail on Route 611 stopped Walker’s vehicle at approximately 7:51 p.m. Oct. 29 for equipment violations.
The officer observed evidence of impairment during contact with Walker, according to police.
A search of the vehicle yielded a controlled substance, police said.
Two juveniles were passengers in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Walker was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of controlled substances.
Toxicology results indicated Walker was under the influence of marijuana and cocaine at the time of the stop, police said.
Walker faces one count of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and four summary traffic violations.
