Home invasion robbery investigated in Irondequoit

IRONDEQUOIT, NY — Three armed suspects forced their way into a residence early Wednesday morning and robbed the occupants before fleeing the scene.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. in the 3300 block of St. Paul Boulevard, according to the Irondequoit Police Department.

Three male suspects entered the home while armed with firearms and took property from the residence.

Three occupants inside the home sustained injuries during the robbery.

Two victims were transported to Rochester General Hospital, and one victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital.

All injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

The suspects fled the area before officers arrived on scene.

A perimeter was established, and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search of the surrounding area.

Despite an extensive search, the suspects were not located.

Investigators believe the incident was targeted and there is no indication of a random threat to the public.
