Man arrested on trespass charge in Bath

BATH, NY — A 34-year-old man was arrested early Feb. 12 in connection with a trespass incident reported four days earlier.

Dylan M. Henry, of Bath, was taken into custody without incident at approximately 2:18 a.m. while walking on West Steuben Street.

The arrest stems from an incident reported at approximately 10:57 p.m. Feb. 8, when Village of Bath Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence on Chestnut Street for a report of a trespass in progress.

The complainant told police the front door of his home was kicked in and a male known to him entered the residence.

The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived.

Police allege Henry kicked in the victim’s door, causing damage, and subsequently unlawfully entered the residence.

Henry was charged with one count of criminal mischief in the fourth degree and one count of criminal trespass in the second degree, both class A misdemeanors.

He was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP court, where he was arraigned and released.
