Man sought on assault charge in Henryville

HENRYVILLE, PA — Police are searching for a Stroudsburg man accused of assaulting another man during a domestic disturbance.

Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the Ski Haven Estates area at approximately 4:39 p.m. on Feb. 7, 2026, for a report of a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male victim had sustained an injury to his face.

Christopher Amos Keiper, 31, of Stroudsburg, allegedly threw a cellphone at the victim’s head and then punched him in the face.

Keiper fled on foot and was not located by responding officers.

Charges of simple assault and harassment have been filed against Keiper.

Keiper has an active failure to appear warrant out of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
