HARTFORD, NY — A 40-year-old man was arrested on felony sex abuse charges following an investigation into inappropriate sexual contact with a child.
Brentin J. Trudeau, of Hartford, was charged with sex abuse in the first degree, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, according to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation with assistance from Warren and Washington County Child Protection Services.
Trudeau was held and is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Centralized Arraignment on Thursday.
