TANNERSVILLE, PA — Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department charged a man with retail theft following an incident at a Sunoco station.
Police were contacted at approximately 1:27 p.m. on Dec. 27 in reference to a retail theft at the Sunoco on State Route 715.
Officers made contact with staff and viewed security footage.
Frank R. Trautz, 41, of Monroe County, and another person were observed placing several items from the store in their jackets and leaving without paying for them, according to police.
Trautz was charged with felony retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft.
He was arrested on Feb. 4, 2026.
