GALLATIN, NY — New York State Police arrested a New Jersey man on felony charges Jan. 28, 2026.
Ryan A. Hand, 23, of West Milford, New Jersey, was charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor in the first degree, a class D felony, and rape in the third degree, a class E felony.
Troopers received information Jan. 22, 2026, reporting inappropriate sexual contact between an adult male and a minor.
An investigation determined that Hand had sexual contact with a child under the age of 17 while in the town of Gallatin in 2025.
Hand was arraigned in Gallatin Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 25, 2026, at 4 p.m.
