TUNBRIDGE, VT — A Sharon man has been cited for violating an abuse prevention order.
On January 31, 2026, at approximately 2:46 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks received a report of a violation of an abuse prevention order in Tunbridge.
Investigation indicated that Matthew Tobin, 45, of Sharon, had violated a restraining order by having contact with the victim.
On February 1, 2026, Tobin was issued a criminal citation for violation of an abuse prevention order.
He was ordered to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division on February 2, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
