IRASBURG, VT — A North Troy man was arrested early Sunday morning after a state trooper found his vehicle off the roadway on U.S. Route 5.
Corey Gunn, 35, of North Troy, was inside a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek near Airport Road when a trooper from the Vermont State Police Derby barracks spotted the vehicle at 1:21 a.m. on Feb. 1, 2026.
The trooper observed indicators of impairment while speaking with Gunn, according to police.
Gunn was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Derby barracks for processing.
He was cited to appear in Orleans Criminal Court on Feb. 2, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. to be arraigned on a charge of DUI, third offense.
The vehicle sustained minor damage, and no injuries were reported.
