Man arrested on drug charges in Lower Makefield Township

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop on Jan. 21.

Police stopped a vehicle at Route 332 and Stony Hill Road at 11:01 a.m. for violations.

An investigation led to the discovery of Oxycodone and marijuana.

The 51-year-old male driver from Philadelphia was arrested for possession of Oxycodone.

The 49-year-old male passenger from Philadelphia was cited for disorderly conduct.

In a separate incident on Jan. 21, a Morrisville man was arrested on a warrant at 11:22 p.m. in the 1700 block of Dobry Road.

Police received a license plate reader hit for a wanted person.

The 28-year-old male driver was wanted by Bucks County for failure to appear.

He was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and taken into custody.

On Jan. 17, a Philadelphia man was arrested on drug charges at Oxford Valley Road and Route 1 at 4:32 p.m.

Police stopped a vehicle for violations and discovered marijuana.

The 19-year-old male passenger from Philadelphia was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also on Jan. 17, a Trenton, N.J., man was arrested at Oxford Valley Road and Route 1 at 2:31 p.m.

The 54-year-old male driver was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and related charges.

Police are also investigating several fraud cases, including unauthorized credit card use in the 400 block of Lenape Lane reported Jan. 22 at 1:02 p.m., identity theft in the 1300 block of Brentwood Road reported Jan. 21 at 12:04 p.m., and PayPal fraud in the unit block of Beechwood Lane reported Jan. 17 at 9:41 a.m.
